Elke Dillmann

Elke Dillmann is a Lecturer for Media Education at the Free University of Stuttgart since 2019. She is also affiliated with the TUM School of Education, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, the Academy for Teacher Training and Human Resources Management Dillingen, and the Institute for School Quality and Educational Research Munich. Her research focuses on media education, media history, media psychology, media ethics, and practical media work.

• Education: MA in Theatre and Media Studies, Literature Studies, and Education from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg (1995).

Her work explores the intersection of media and education, addressing themes like adolescent development, fake news, school radio projects, and digital storytelling. Recent publications analyze media integration in classrooms, ethical challenges in digital communication, and refugee representation in children's radio programs.

She has contributed to journals such as Journal for Waldorf Education, Erziehungskunst, and merz Media and Education, emphasizing pedagogical strategies to combat disinformation and enhance student resilience through media projects.
