Elizabeth Yost is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Washington College, where she also serves as Director of Pre-Health Programs and Director of Public Health Minor. Her academic work bridges sociology, gerontology, and health technology, focusing on how technological interventions can improve quality of life for older adults.
Dr. Yost earned her educational credentials from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Birmingham-Southern College:

Dr. Yost actively contributes to academic service through her campus roles as Faculty Advisor to Best Buddies and her community service on the University of Maryland Health Center Community Board, Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center Board, and Independent Identity Board. She has also served as a Project Manager for the Kent County Housing Survey with Rebuilding Together Kent County.
