Elizabeth Watson

Elizabeth Watson is the director of The Children's School at Stephens College and serves as the Education Program Chair. With over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher in preschool and elementary settings, she also instructs in the college classroom.

• M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (Reading emphasis), University of Missouri-Columbia
• B.S. in Early Childhood Education, Stephens College

Her research interests focus on education, particularly in curriculum development, reading instruction, and early childhood literacy. Her work bridges practical teaching experience with academic instruction, shaping preservice educators.
