Elizabeth S Aby is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas, specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Her research focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and the impact of social determinants on liver disease outcomes. She leads the National Liver Cancer Screening Trial (TRACER), a NIH-funded project addressing liver cancer screening strategies.
