Elizabeth Rockendorf

Elizabeth Rockendorf serves as Program Director and Instructor in the Health Information Management and Technology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She holds an MS in Health Information Management (2012) from The College of St. Scholastica and a BS in Business Administration (2003) from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Specializing in HIM operational leadership, data standards, privacy/security, and accreditation processes, her work bridges academic and industry needs.

Research focuses on advancing HIM as a STEM field and aligning educational programs with workforce demands. She coordinates capstone experiences, leveraging professional networks to secure student placements. Key recognitions include the 2020 Wisconsin Health Information Management Association Educator of the Year award.
