Dr Elizabeth Moore is a Research Fellow at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM), Monash University, where she contributes to the Myeloma and Related Diseases Registry (MRDR), the Asia-Pacific MRDR Steering Committee, and the Expert Advisory Group for the MRFF-funded EpiMAP study. She is a Chief Investigator on the MY-PROMPT-2 trial, investigating real-time patient-reported outcomes in myeloma therapy.
Her academic qualifications include a PhD from Monash University, a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care) from the University of Melbourne.
Elizabeth Moore's research focuses on myeloma registries, patient-reported outcomes, quality of life, clinical trials, and supportive care. Her work integrates epidemiological modeling and health services research to improve outcomes for myeloma patients. With a background as a critical care nurse, she brings clinical insight to her research on managing complex cancer patient needs.
Her recent publications highlight trends in real-world data analysis, simulation modeling of treatment pathways, genomic impacts on therapy, and workforce challenges in cancer nursing. These works are published in journals such as Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma and Leukemia, PLoS ONE, Collegian, and Internal Medicine Journal.
She has received the Snowdome Foundation - Haematology Nurse Myeloma Travel Grant in 2018.
Elizabeth Moore actively participates in PhD review panels at SPHPM and advises on research grants for CNSA, ACCCN, and ANZ Intensive Care Foundation. She has reviewed manuscripts for journals including Lancet Haematology, Journal of Patient-reported Outcomes, and Cancer Medicine. Her leadership roles include Chair of the Research Standing Committee of the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia (CNSA), where she advances the Nursing Workforce Mapping research program.
She is involved in key research networks including the ANZ Myeloma and Related Diseases Registry, EpiMAP, and MY-PROMPT-2, collaborating with national and international institutions to improve myeloma care through data-driven research.
