Elizabeth Luth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers University, and a Core Faculty member at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, & Aging Research. Her work focuses on reducing racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in end-of-life care through inclusive tools and training. She holds an R00 grant from NIA to develop hospice clinician training for dementia care support.
- PhD in Sociology from Rutgers University (2017)
Her research emphasizes health equity, with a focus on practical interventions for marginalized populations. Current projects include a pilot-tested tool for hospice clinicians working with dementia patients and families. She has received prestigious fellowships including an NIA T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship (2018-2021) and a K99 grant (2021).
