Elizabeth Lanphier

Dr. Elizabeth Lanphier is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a Research Assistant Professor in Philosophy. She serves on the faculty of the Ethics Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, with affiliations in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Center for Public Engagement with Science.

Her scholarship examines clinical ethics, feminist bioethics, and trauma-informed approaches to healthcare, with particular focus on reproductive justice, consent frameworks, and marginalized populations. She actively translates research into public discourse through contributions to The Hastings Center, Ms. Magazine, and The Conversation.
