معرفی
Elizabeth Kopp, PhD, is a Research Scientist in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale School of Medicine. She holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University (1984) and a PhD in Cell Biology from Yale University (1999). Her research focuses on innate immunity, Toll-like receptor signaling, and NF-κB pathways, with significant contributions to understanding microbial recognition and host defense mechanisms.
Key collaborations include work with Ruslan Medzhitov on fundamental aspects of immune system activation. Her studies span microbial infection recognition, vaccine development, and inflammatory response modulation. Recent work includes elucidating type 2 immune response initiation mechanisms (Immunity 2023) and evolutionary links between infection and somatic maintenance (Evolutionary Applications 2009).
Publications highlight her expertise in TLR signaling pathways, cytokine regulation, and host-pathogen interactions. While no awards are explicitly listed, her work has been foundational for understanding innate immune system functions.
