Elizabeth Jelinek is a Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Department of Philosophy & Religion at Christopher Newport University. Her research focuses on the intersection of science, epistemology, and metaphysics in Plato's natural philosophy, particularly his works Timaeus and Phaedo. She holds a PhD from Duke University and a BA from Wellesley College.
