Elizabeth J. Walsh

Elizabeth Walsh is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), College of Science, where she also serves as Associate Dean of the College of Science and Associate Director of the Center for Environmental Resource Management (CERM). Her academic roles span Bioinformatics, Environmental Science and Engineering, and Environmental Science disciplines.

Her research focuses on evolutionary ecology of freshwater invertebrates in arid environments, with core projects examining:
