Elizabeth J Z Robinson

Elizabeth J Z Robinson is a Professor and environmental economist at the London School of Economics (LSE), currently serving as Acting Dean of the Global School of Sustainability, seconded from her role as Director of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. She holds a first-class degree in Engineering, Economics, and Management from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Applied Economics from Stanford University.

Her research focuses on climate change impacts on health, food security, and worker rights, with emphasis on low- and middle-income countries. Key areas include climate adaptation, mitigation policies, and the intersection of environmental economics with public health. She has held roles at institutions like the World Bank and Rockefeller Foundation and advises UK and international bodies on climate-related policy.
