Elizabeth Hunter

Elizabeth Hunter is Assistant Professor of Drama and Director of the Fabula(b) Theatre + New Media Lab at Washington University. She holds a PhD and MA in Theatre and Drama from Northwestern University, an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University, and a BA in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Hunter's research examines emergent technologies in performance through critical theory and digital making. Her current projects investigate how audiences participate across physical/digital spaces and how performance theory illuminates digital resurrection technologies. She directs the Fabula(b) where interdisciplinary teams create digital adaptations of canonical works as historiographic analysis.
