Dr. Elizabeth Faunce serves as Professor of Business at Immaculata University's Major-Payton School of Business, where she has been a full-time faculty member since 2011 after serving as adjunct faculty since 1999. She teaches across undergraduate, graduate, online, and accelerated programs with extensive course coverage in economics, finance, and organizational management.
Her educational credentials include:
- Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University (2010)
- M.B.A. from Allentown College of Saint Francis DeSales (1998)
- B.A. from Immaculata College (1990)
- Certified Financial Planner designation from College for Financial Planning (1992)
Dr. Faunce's research centers on faculty metacognition and 21st-century teaching capacity building, highlighted by her SEPCHE grant-funded project "Developing Faculty Metacognition Through iPad Application" with Sister Kathleen Doutt. Her dissertation examined economic impacts of online financial planning tools on traditional planner client bases, reflecting her dual expertise in academic theory and financial practice.
She secured a 2012 SEPCHE grant for faculty metacognition research and presented findings at the May 2012 SEPCHE Professional Development Conference. Additional scholarly engagement includes a May 2011 keynote address titled "Education as a Crystal" for Immaculata University's ACCEL Honor Society Induction.
