Elizabeth Bullivant

Elizabeth Bullivant is a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging and Course Leader for the MSc Medical Ultrasound Programme at Sheffield Hallam University. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, including degree apprentices, within the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. Her expertise spans obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound, with prior NHS experience as a Diagnostic Radiographer and Sonographer. She has held roles such as screening support sonographer in the Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP) and Professional Clinical Advisor for Public Health England.

Her teaching focuses on ultrasound physics, obstetric ultrasound practice, and interdisciplinary modules like the Integrate Care Curriculum (ICC). Research interests include cutaneous perfusion dynamics and applications for post-caesarean wound management, demonstrated in collaboration with the Health Research Institute. She holds qualifications including an MSc, Postgraduate Diploma in Academic Practice, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
