Elizabeth Bridges is a Lecturer at Pratt Institute’s School of Continuing & Professional Studies (SCPS), teaching the Theory and Practice course and BioDesign in the Sustainable Design Certificate Program. With a multidisciplinary design background and expertise in research and phenomenology, she operates from San Francisco and focuses on sustainable material innovation.
Education:
- MFA from Pratt Institute (2018)
Her career includes serving as Lead 3D Designer at Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA), where she worked on narrative environments for the Smithsonian’s Climate Change exhibit in London and the United States. She founded Sum Studio, a design practice, and co-founded OurCarbon, a biomaterials company developing carbon-sequestered materials from organic waste.
