Elizabeth Anne Adamson

Dr. Elizabeth Anne Adamson is a Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her research focuses on comparative care and family policy, including early childhood education and care (ECEC), the social and political economy of formal/informal care, gender dynamics in care work, migration's impact on care systems, and child poverty in the Pacific Islands. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from UNSW, an MSc in Policy Studies from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA (Hons) from Queen’s University (Canada). Her work spans projects on disadvantaged children, young carers, and comparative family tax/benefit systems. The SPRC, where she is based, is a specialist research center dedicated to advancing social policy research and training.
