Elizabeth Anderson-Fletcher is Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Department of Decision and Information Sciences at the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. She also holds a joint faculty appointment with the Hobby School of Public Affairs, reflecting her interdisciplinary work at the intersection of operations management and public service.
Her research focuses on health care quality management, patient safety, medical errors, and service operations, with a growing emphasis on first responder mental health and wellness. She examines organizational culture and employee acceptance of quality improvement programs, particularly in high-stress environments. Her applied work includes developing behavioral health and wellness initiatives for firefighters, informed by her active volunteer role with the Cypress Creek Fire Department.
Dr. Anderson-Fletcher teaches production and operations management, supply chain, and health care operations at undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels, including the Executive MBA and doctoral programs. She has been a key contributor to the Bauer Honors Program since 2013.
