Dr. Elizabeth Agnew is a Lecturer in Law at Queen's University Belfast, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Law from Queen's University Belfast (2018), alongside a Master's in Criminal Justice (2011) and LLB Honours (2010). Her research focuses on children's rights, youth consent dynamics, and harmful sexual behaviors (HSB/TA-HSB), with a particular emphasis on digital age challenges like sexting. She leads the LLM Criminology and Criminal Justice Programme and serves on ethics and governance committees.
