Elizabeth A. Napier is an Assistant Professor at the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation, The University of Toledo. She holds a PhD in Marketing and International Business from Georgia State University (2019), along with a Master of International Business (2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology (2011), same institution. Her research focuses on marketing strategy, international business dynamics, corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and the application of technology in ethical practices. She has explored topics such as MNE-NGO partnerships, fast-fashion industry challenges, AI’s role in CSR evolution, and waste-to-value innovations.
Dr. Napier’s work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical business strategies, emphasizing global market competitiveness and ethical practices. Her recent studies include analyzing YKK’s longevity in the zipper industry, leveraging AI for sustainability, and investigating consumer guilt in hedonic product purchases. She frequently collaborates with scholars like Salih Tamer Cavusgil and Gabriele Zedlmayer on multi-stakeholder partnerships and technology-driven CSR solutions.
Her research has been presented at conferences such as the Academy of International Business Southeast, with manuscripts targeting journals like the Journal of International Business Studies, International Business Review, and Harvard Business Review.
