Elizabeth A. Coon, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Consultant in the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She specializes in autonomic and movement disorders, with a focus on synucleinopathies like multiple system atrophy and Parkinson’s disease. Her research explores the clinical course of autonomic dysfunction, sex/gender influences on neurological disorders, and improving postgraduate neurology education. She co-founded the Mayo Clinic Multiple System Atrophy Center of Excellence.
