Elizabeth A. Colby Davie

Elizabeth A. Colby Davie, Ph.D., is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at the D’Amour College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Assumption University. She has held academic positions including NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston College and Visiting Faculty at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Her research spans natural product synthesis, asymmetric catalysis, and fluorescent sensor development.

Research Interests: Dr. Davie’s work focuses on total synthesis of bioactive natural products, such as montamine and amphidinolides, and the development of enantioselective peptide catalysts. Her projects often involve undergraduate collaborators, emphasizing hands-on synthetic challenges and structural revisions through NMR analysis.
