Dr Eliza Watt is a Lecturer in Law at the Department of Law and Criminology, Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Visiting Lecturer at the British Law Centre, University of Warsaw, Poland. She previously held academic positions at Middlesex University, Bournemouth University, and the University of Westminster. She earned her PhD from the University of Westminster and holds multiple LL.M. and LL.B. degrees from King's College London and the University of Westminster.

Her research centers on international law, cyber surveillance, privacy, and human rights, particularly in the context of armed conflict and digital workplace monitoring. She is the author of State Sponsored Cyber Surveillance: The Right to Privacy of Communications and International Law (Edward Elgar, 2021).
