Eliza Lanham Jones

Eliza Lanham Jones serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Dance at Oakland University's School of Music, Theatre and Dance, where she teaches dance performance and choreography while maintaining an active professional dance career.

Her educational background includes:

• BFA in Dance Performance from The Juilliard School (2017)
• 12 years of formal training at Jacqueline's School of Ballet under Jacqueline Colledge, Heather Grey, and Brittnee Squires

Her artistic practice centers on Ballet and Contemporary Dance, informed by extensive performance experience in works by José Limón, Merce Cunningham, and Paul Taylor. She creates original choreography that has been featured in Juilliard's Choreographic Honors, and actively engages with the community through teaching and performance outreach.
