Dr. Eliza Byington is a Lecturer in Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney Business School. She holds a PhD in Organisation & Personnel Management from the Rotterdam School of Management. Her research focuses on team performance, coworker satisfaction, individual differences, and improving the reliability of management science. She teaches at undergraduate, MCom, MBA, and PhD/MPhil levels, with a master's course on interpersonal skills awarded the Dean's Citation for Teaching.
Her research explores topics such as bibliometric reviews of Human Resource Management and Careers research, overcoming the research-practice gap, and workplace compassion.
