Elitsa Deyanova

Elitsa Deyanova is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Residential Buildings at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), Sofia. She holds a doctorate in Architecture with a focus on intermediate space in small housing units. Her teaching responsibilities include residential building design courses for third and fourth-year architecture students.

Dr. Deyanova's educational background includes:

• Doctor of Architecture (2024) from UACEG, Department of Residential Buildings, with dissertation titled "Intermediate Space in Small Housing Units. A Means for Achieving Sustainable Architecture".
• Master of Architecture (1998) from UACEG, Department of Public Buildings.

Her research centers on sustainable residential architecture through innovative spatial solutions, specializing in small housing typologies and intermediate spaces that enhance livability within constrained areas.
