Elissa Germaine is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Legal Education at St. John’s University School of Law. She serves as Co-Director of the Securities Arbitration Clinic, Faculty Director of the Hugh L. Carey Center for Dispute Resolution, and Faculty Advisor to the Dispute Resolution Society. Her expertise spans securities arbitration, investor advocacy, and legal skills education.

Her work focuses on securities law, dispute resolution mechanisms, and pro bono advocacy. She previously taught at Pace University Law School and managed John Jay Legal Services. Active in professional committees, she serves on the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee and FINRA’s National Arbitration Committee.
Her contributions include advancing investor rights through clinical legal education and dispute resolution initiatives.
