Elisabetta Fadda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Enterprises at the University of Parma. She teaches courses in Art History, Renaissance Art, Iconography, and Cultural Heritage at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Her research focuses on the social and intellectual context of Renaissance artists in Parma, particularly exploring the intersection of logic, technique, and responsibility in artistic workshops. She has published extensively on Parmigianino, Correggio, and their contemporaries, analyzing the revival of their styles and the attribution of works.
Recent publications include studies on the Fortezza in 16th-century Parma, the Lavori in corso research projects of modern art history graduates, and investigations into the FATO PRUDENTIA MINOR symbolism in Parmigianino’s drawings. Her work also extends to museum curation, including rediscoveries in the Giovian Museum and analyses of religious iconography in Renaissance crucifixion scenes.
Fadda’s teaching appointments at the University of Parma cover courses such as Principles of Art History, Renaissance Art History, and Iconography and Iconologia, reflecting her deep engagement with both educational and research dimensions of art history.
