معرفی
Elisabetta Chiodaroli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Pisa. Her research focuses on Partial Differential Equations, particularly in fluid dynamics and gas dynamics. She specializes in analyzing weak solutions, non-uniqueness phenomena, and ill-posedness in systems such as the Euler equations and Boussinesq equations. Her work bridges mathematical analysis with applications in compressible flow and thermomechanical systems.
Key research interests include nonlinear wave equations, compressible gas dynamics, and the mathematical foundations of fluid mechanics. She has contributed to understanding critical radial wave maps and concentration compactness techniques. Her recent studies emphasize the rigorous analysis of dissipative models and energy dissipation rates in fluid systems.
Chiodaroli has organized and participated in several academic events, such as the 9th GAMM-Seminar on Analysis of Partial Differential Equations and the Workshop on Variational Problems and PDEs. She actively engages in collaborative research with institutions like the University of Basel and the Czech Academy of Sciences, as evidenced by her co-authored papers with experts such as Ondřej Kreml and Camillo De Lellis.
