Dr. Elisabeth Migge is a Research Fellow at the Chair of Religious Education within the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Tübingen. Since March 2022, she has served as a scientific staff member at the Chair of Religious Education and as a postdoc at the Elie Wiesel Research Center. Her work focuses on interreligious dialogue, Elie Wiesel's literary and philosophical contributions from an educational perspective, and antisemitism prevention in educational settings.

Dr. Migge completed her doctorate in Catholic Theology at the University of Tübingen in 2021 with a dissertation titled "Mohammed – ein Prophet auch für Christen? Eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit neueren christlich-theologischen Positionen," supervised by Professor Dr. Bernd Jochen Hilberath and Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Karl-Josef Kuschel. Her doctoral work received the University of Tübingen's Doctoral Prize. Prior to her doctorate, she earned a Diploma in Catholic Theology from the University of Tübingen in 2016, completed teacher training for gymnasium level (2015-2016), and passed the State Examination in Catholic Theology and Biology in 2014. She also served in the World Church Peace Service in the Diocese of Chachapoyas, Peru (2007-2008).
Her research interests center on interreligious dialogue, particularly Christian-Muslim relations, and the educational implications of Elie Wiesel's testimony literature. She has made significant contributions to understanding how Wiesel's work, especially Night, can inform contemporary antisemitism prevention efforts in educational contexts. Her work bridges theological reflection with practical educational applications, emphasizing the importance of memory, ethical responsibility, and relational dimensions in religious education. Migge's scholarship demonstrates a commitment to translating complex theological concepts into accessible educational frameworks that address contemporary social challenges.
