Elisabeth Maria Wieder

Elisabeth Maria Wieder is a visual artist and art educator serving as a Senior Lecturer in Graphics at the Mozarteum University's School of Fine Arts in Innsbruck. Since 2020, she has been teaching in the field of graphic arts, bringing her extensive experience as a practicing artist to her academic role.

Wieder earned her education in visual arts with a focus on painting and graphics in Linz, as well as visual arts education and history in Salzburg. Her research and artistic interests center around artistic processes and their role in society, processes of (re)learning, experimentation, and exchange. Wieder approaches art education as a dynamic field where creative practice intersects with social engagement and pedagogical innovation. Her work explores how artistic methodologies can inform broader societal questions and educational frameworks.

Wieder's artistic output demonstrates a consistent engagement with contemporary art practices, spanning installation, graphic arts, and conceptual works.
