Elisabeth Harrell

Dr. Elisabeth Harrell is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from UNCW, with concentrations in Curriculum & Instruction, and has over 26 years of experience in education, including roles as an elementary and middle school teacher, assistant principal, and founding principal of a primary school. Her research focuses on self-care and support for school administrators, informed by her extensive work in Title I schools.

She actively contributes to professional organizations like the NCAE and Delta Kappa Gamma. Her personal interests include gardening, photography, and creative activities.
