Elisabeth Eilers is currently a Research Associate at the University of Leipzig's Institute for New Testament Studies (since October 2024) and holds a concurrent position as Lecturer in Dramaturgical Homiletics at the Theological Centre Braunschweig (since July 2023). She previously served as Editorial Assistant for Göttinger Predigtmeditationen (June-September 2024) and held multiple student assistant/tutoring roles at the University of Leipzig between 2020-2024.
Education:
- Protestant Theology studies across four European universities (Leipzig, Montpellier, Vienna, Halle) from October 2016 to June 2024, culminating in the First Church Examination of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony
Research Focus: Her work spans New Testament textual analysis, Protestant theological frameworks, and homiletic methodologies – particularly dramaturgical approaches to sermon composition and delivery as evidenced by her seminar instruction.
