Elisabeth Deindl

Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Deindl is a Principal Investigator at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), affiliated with the Medical Faculty. Her research focuses on vascular biology, particularly the molecular pathways governing arteriogenesis and angiogenesis in response to mechanical forces like shear stress and ischemia. She leads the Deindl Group at the Walter Brendel Zentrum, exploring how physical stimuli translate into biological signals driving vascular adaptation.
