Elisabete Pinto Da Costa

Elisabete Pinto Da Costa is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona do Porto, where she also serves as Pro-Rector for Mobility and Director of the Mediation Institute. She is affiliated with the Research Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) and coordinates the ReLeCo Social and Educational Mediation research group. Her work spans academic, institutional, and community levels, with strong national and international engagement.

The recent publications analyzed show a consistent trajectory in school-based mediation interventions, teacher training in conflict resolution, and the development of intercultural mediation frameworks. Her work combines theoretical depth with practical application, often using qualitative methods to assess socio-educational impacts across Portugal and international contexts like Brazil.
