Elisa Zuppini

Elisa Zuppini is an Italian choreographer, dancer, and researcher based at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, specifically within the Academy of Theatre and Dance. She graduated from the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) in Amsterdam and operates at the intersection of dance and visual arts, developing innovative choreographic methodologies.

Her research explores performance and choreography as expanded frameworks for understanding movement. She created the kinetic technology De.sy.re. (Decentralised Systems of Relations), which examines the body as a decentralized system of forces and its connection to introspection and choreographic languages. Her work has been presented internationally in theatres, galleries, and festivals.
