Elisa Ughetto

Elisa Ughetto is a Full Professor at the Politecnico di Torino, specializing in the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP). As Deputy Director of the department and member of the Interdepartmental Center FULL (Future Urban Legacy Lab), she focuses on entrepreneurial finance, innovation ecosystems, and social impact finance. She co-founded and directs the Bureau of Entrepreneurial Finance, contributing to academic and industry collaborations.

• Editorial roles: Associate Editor of International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management, PlosOne, and member of editorial boards for journals like Small Business Economics.

Her research investigates venture capital dynamics, cleantech financing, and fintech ecosystems. She has led projects funded by the EU, Italian Government, and Bank of Italy, emphasizing sustainable development and innovation policy.

Teaching includes courses on accounting, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship at undergraduate and graduate levels. She supervises PhD students and co-coordinates the PhD program in entrepreneurship and start-up creation.
