Elisa Taggert

Elisa Taggert serves as a lecturer at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK Stuttgart) and the University of Music Karlsruhe. At HMDK Stuttgart's Institute for Speech and Communication Education, she teaches media speaking, teaching practice, and didactics/methodology in the Bachelor's Speech and Speech Training and Master's Media Speaking programs. At Karlsruhe University of Music's Institute for Music Journalism, she trains bachelor's and master's students in microphone technique, camera presence, and media production for radio, television, social media, podcasts, and stage performances.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Elocution and Speech Training and a Master's degree in Media Speech from HMDK Stuttgart, completed in 2018.

Her expertise centers on Speech Training, Media Speaking, and Voice Coaching, with specialized focus on broadcasting techniques across digital and traditional platforms. She integrates practical didactic methodologies to prepare students for real-world media environments including radio, television, and emerging digital formats.

Taggert advises bachelor's and master's students in speech communication while providing professional development for Regio TV trainees, editors, and presenters. Her industry engagement bridges academic training with broadcast media practice.

As an active broadcast professional, she serves on SWR's newscasting team delivering news and cultural programming, provides voiceovers for radio features and television on SWR, Das Erste, and arte, and previously served as station voice for SWR's youth program DASDING for multiple years.
