Nicole Köster

Nicole Köster is a Lecturer at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart in the Institute of Music Journalism, Radio, Television, and Internet. She has been with Südwestrundfunk (SWR) since 1998, hosting diverse radio and television programs while presenting major music festivals and events across Germany.

Her professional activities include:

• Hosting radio programs: SWR 3 CLUB, Bis 12, Luna, Popshop, WELTWEIT
• Presenting TV events: SWR 2 Studiobrettl, Salzburger Stier awards, ARD Radio Play Festival, Rock am Ring, Stuttgart JazzOpen
• Training SWR trainees since 2015
• Editing and presenting SWR 1 Leute since 2016

Her research interests focus on Music Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, and cross-platform Media Production, emphasizing practical applications in radio, television, and digital environments through live event hosting and feature writing.
