Elisa Paepcke is a Lecturer at ETH Zurich's Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (D-GESS). She is a PhD student at EUROPE RE and holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Mannheim, where she specialized in quantitative methods and R, focusing on multilevel models and causal inference. Her research interests include crisis and European integration research, European reinsurance policy, and the application of AI and digitalization in public sector contexts.
Elisa's academic journey includes studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Université Paris XII, and the Central European University in Vienna, with a focus on the European Union and European politics. She has also worked in consulting for the German public sector on AI and digitalization projects.
