This platform supports her textbook Sequenze by offering film clips, exercises, and interactive resources to enhance students' comprehension and engagement. She has co-authored two textbooks in the 'Quaderni del cinema italiano per stranieri' series: La prima cosa bella (2014) and Sequenze: Italian through contemporary film (2016), both designed to bridge language learning with Italian cinema and cultural history.
Elisa has extensive teaching experience, including roles in Japan since 1995 and various U.S. institutions. Her work highlights the use of film to teach Italian morphology, syntax, and idiomatic expressions, while contextualizing them within Italy's sociocultural landscape. She has directed language programs and advocates for pedagogical strategies that utilize multimedia to foster global understanding of Italian language and culture.
