Elif Yilmaz

Elif Yilmaz, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in indolent/aggressive lymphomas, cellular therapies, and bone marrow transplantation. As a member of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, she participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards including the Renal Cell Carcinoma Tumor Board.

She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University (Turkey), completed internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and hematology/oncology fellowships at George Washington University and Georgetown University. She holds board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Her research focuses on optimizing lymphoma therapies, CAR-T cell outcomes, healthcare disparities in cancer treatment, and HIV-associated malignancies. Recent publications explore adaptive radiotherapy, immunotherapy efficacy, and clinical trial accessibility.
