Dr. Elias Thistle is an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. He serves as the Director of Community Engagement for Pitt Public Health and directs Bridging the Gaps-Pittsburgh, a 27-year interdisciplinary program placing graduate students in community organizations to address health equity. His work emphasizes participatory evaluation, community partnerships, and health equity education.
