Elias Myrstad Brodwall

Elias Myrstad Brodwall is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Division of Medicine and Laboratory Sciences. His research focuses on chronic fatigue syndromes, post-COVID-19 conditions, and viral infections such as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). He investigates the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and long-term effects of these conditions, particularly in adolescents and young adults.

Key projects include LoTECA (Long-term effects of COVID-19 in adolescents) and MINIRICO (Mental intervention and nicotineamide riboside supplementation in Long COVID). His publications explore risk factors for fatigue severity, prevalence of post-COVID conditions, and pain mechanisms in chronic fatigue following EBV infection. Collaborations include co-authors from Oslo University Hospital and international teams.
