Dr. Eli Chapman is a Professor at the University of Florida in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics and the Center for Inflammation Science and Systems Medicine (CISSM). He holds a PhD from The Scripps Research Institute, an MA from Columbia University, and a BS from UC Berkeley. His research focuses on chemical biology approaches to discover small-molecule modulators of cellular quality control machinery, targeting chaperones like HSP70, HSP60/10, and NRF2 for cancer therapy and antibiotics. His lab has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers and secured four patents.

Research Interests:
- Discovery of isoform-selective HSP70 inhibitors for cancer treatment
