Dr. Eli Auslender is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the History, Heritage and Politics department at the University of Stirling. His research focuses on migration and public policy, with expanding interests in global border regimes, refugee rights, and climate displacement. Previously, he conducted research at Aberystwyth University on climate negotiations and displacement. Current projects include the Horizon Europe-funded 'WAge: Working Environments for Healthy Ageing' alongside Paul Cairney and Lukas Fuchs. Beyond academia, he is a published science fiction writer with works in Clarkesworld Magazine and Neon Magazine, exploring themes of futuristic societal structures and ethical dilemmas. His interdisciplinary approach bridges policy analysis with speculative narratives, addressing contemporary challenges like environmental migration and space colonization ethics.
