Elfriede Noessner

Prof. Dr. Elfriede Noessner is a faculty member at the Helmholtz Zentrum München, leading research in tumor immunology and immunotherapy. Her work focuses on the role of macrophages in regulating antitumor immunity and therapy resistance in solid tumors, particularly renal cell carcinoma (RCC). She investigates immune checkpoint inhibition mechanisms and the differences between primary tumor and metastasis immune profiles.
