Eleonora Caramelli

Eleonora Caramelli is an Associate Professor of Aesthetics at the University of Bologna's Department of Philosophy, affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy and Communications Studies. She holds an ASN qualification equivalent to Full Professor in Aesthetics (2023). Her academic journey includes a MA from the University of Bologna (2010) and a PhD from Scuola Normale Superiore (2014). She has held positions as a DAAD Stipendiatin at Freie Universität Berlin (2016), post-doctoral fellowships in Toulouse and Berlin, and visiting roles at the University of Valencia and Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung. Her research focuses on aesthetics, Hegelian philosophy, environmental philosophy, and interconnections between philosophy and religion.
