Eleonora Bottani is a Full Professor (Professor) at the University of Parma, affiliated with the Department of Systems Engineering and Industrial Technologies (DISTI) under the Department of Engineering and Architecture. Her career spans over 15 years of academic and research excellence in industrial logistics and supply chain management.

Her research focuses on optimizing supply chains through advanced technologies like RFID and Industry 4.0/5.0, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, agility, and digital transformation. Recent work explores cold chain logistics, warehouse technologies, and AI-driven inventory systems.
Her publications highlight trends in bibliometric analyses of Industry 4.0, RFID applications, and sustainable logistics. She leads the SIR grant project "Escalate" on economic and environmental supply chain sustainability.
