Eleni Stavrinidou is a Senior Associate Professor of Bioengineering and head of the Electronic Plants group at Linköping University, Sweden. She holds a PhD in Microelectronics from École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (EMSE), France (2014), followed by postdoctoral research at Linköping University supported by a Marie Curie fellowship. Her academic progression includes roles as Assistant Professor (2017) and promotion to Associate Professor/Docent in Applied Physics (2020).
Her research focuses on integrating bioelectronic tools with plant systems to address climate change challenges, enhancing plant resilience through sustainable biohybrid technologies.
